Student Stories

In commemoration of World Refugee Day on June 20th, we asked students supported by the Student Emergency Initiatives how higher education has impacted their lives. Through this challenge, three students won a cash prize and are featured with their perspectives. Hear from Claudine in Zimbabwe, Ibrahim in Germany, and Naw Si Blut Moo in Thailand!

Funding Fellowships in Forced Displacement

The University of Auckland's Centre for Asia Pacific Refugee Studies has announced their Non-Residential Fellowship which offers postgraduate researchers the opportunity to convert their theses into action-oriented policy papers and publish their work through Routledge.

This remote opportunity is available for any research relating to forced displacement in the Asia Pacific region and provides priority consideration to applicants who have experienced forced displacement themselves.
