IIE PEER PREP Scholarship Award Ceremony in Mae Sot, Thailand

Benjarat Noppornprom with Bridge Award Scholarship Recipients

On June 24, IIE PEER PREP held a Bridge Scholarship award ceremony in Mae Sot, Thailand. The awards were given to displaced students who will be studying in Vietnam, Bangladesh, Hong Kong and Thailand. Every year some displaced students are selected to study in Higher Education Institutes and are provided with full scholarships to fund their studies. However, they remain unable to pay for upfront costs associated with their university studies - visa fees, plane tickets, learning materials, and more. In an effort to bridge this gap, IIE PEER PREP presented these highly talented students with the Bridge Scholarship award. Congratulations to the graduating class!
