Western Sydney University's Refugee Scholarship provides aid to students from a refugee or asylum seeker background. Recipients are considered strong ambassadors of Western Sydney University who have overcome adversity. These scholarships are funded through the generous donations of staff, students, alumni, and friends of the University. Students must be Australian citizens, permanent residents, and have been issued a permanent humanitarian visa within the past five years.
