A number of monthly scholarships are granted to foreign and expatriates undergraduate and graduate university students abroad to attend the Summer School of Modern Greek Language held every year between mid-August to mid-September. The program aims to spread the Greek language and culture. The scholarship exempts students from the obligation to pay the registration and tuition fees in the school and also provides a financial contribution €450 as partial compensation for any accommodation costs, food and participation in cultural events of the School. This amount, if approved by the competent authorities, will be paid after completing the program, whenever it becomes available in the same financial year and if the fellows are consistent with their obligations.
